Both, but never in isolation from the work they’re doing. I support teams and professionals who are deep in complex files and need structure, clarity, and focus. Sometimes I’m contracted by the organization; sometimes I’m hired by the individual. The common thread is real work, real deliverables, and practical support to move things forward.
Yes. I offer time management coaching as a standalone service for organizations that want to provide one-on-one, confidential support to staff. Coaching is focused on improving clarity, task flow, and time use within the context of real work, not as a general productivity seminar. Sessions are customized, practical, and structured to support sustainable improvements. This service can be contracted independently of policy or program consulting.
While I'm happy to deliver small workshops to introduce time management basics to a group, I've found the real impact comes from one-on-one coaching.
Because strong policy work depends on more than good ideas, it requires focused people doing clear work. My consulting helps teams shape deliverables; my coaching helps individuals manage the time, tasks, and focus it takes to get there. When both are supported, progress sticks.
In a hybrid contract, I provide policy and program consulting, and also support individual staff members through time management coaching. That said, coaching is not automatically included in every consulting contract, it's something we plan together, based on your needs.
Coaching is always one-on-one, confidential, and grounded in the realities of each person's role. I work with individuals to create personalized systems, using their existing computer programs and tools, to help them manage tasks, projects, emails, and competing priorities more effectively.
While coaching can lead to stronger team outcomes, it's not designed for oversight or performance reporting. The purpose is to support the staff member directly, so they can feel more focused, confident, and in control of their workday. Protecting that trust is essential to the process.
I'm happy to deliver small workshops to introduce time management basics to a group, but the real impact comes from one-on-one coaching. That's where we can tailor systems to match each person's workload, role, and energy. In a hybrid contract, I prefer to focus my time management coaching on individual coaching. It's where the biggest gains are made. Over time, those individual improvements ripple outward and strengthen the team as a whole.
It’s a structured blend of both.
I bring the tools and systems you’d expect from productivity training, especially around how to use Outlook effectively, but I also draw on professional coaching methods to help you reflect, shift habits, and follow through over time. My approach is informed by formal training with Erickson Coaching International and grounded in real-world experience.
We’ll look at your real work, your real time, and your real energy - and build a system that fits all three.
The best starting point is the free 30-minute consultation. It’s a no-pressure conversation where we’ll talk through what you’re looking for and explore the level of support that suits you best. Some people are looking for a targeted reset or a practical system setup; others want ongoing support to build and maintain lasting habits. There's no one-size-fits-all answer. What matters is what will serve you best right now.
Life happens. For most sessions, you can reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, no problem. Late cancellations or no-shows are generally not refundable, but I do my best to be fair and flexible, especially when something unexpected arises. If you're not sure, just reach out.
For the Boot Camp, I require a minimum of 7 days' notice. With at least one week's notice, you may reschedule once or request a 50% refund. Cancellations made with less than 7 days' notice are non-refundable, due to the preparation involved and the difficulty of filling the time slot.
Not at all. While working in Outlook is my speciality it's not a requirement. I've also worked with other tools, both high and low-tech, including OmniFocus and paper planners. I'm happy to adapt to whatever system you're currently using (or help you choose one that fits your needs).
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to be tech-savvy to benefit from this process.
We’ll focus on building a clear, structured time management system that fits your day-to-day work. I’ll guide you step by step using Outlook as your central tool, and I’ll explain things in a way that makes sense. No jargon. No assumptions.
If you’re using other programs that interact with Outlook (like Microsoft Teams or Planner), I can help you work through how to incorporate them into your system. I am not able to test or troubleshoot these tools directly, but I can support integrating them into your workflow.
